Red Lightning
Allegretti Architects Santa Fe, New Mexico
Red Lightning is a new professional office building of 3,600 square feet built for the New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperative Association. The client occupies a board room at the rear portion of the structure while the front of the building is leased to a commercial tenant.
Allegretti architects secured approval of this commercial use within an established residential neighborhood in the Santa Fe Historic Review District. This location on a quiet street with mature landscape and historic architecture enhances the value of the development.
Parking is shared with a neighboring apartment compound, taking advantage of non-simultaneous functions. Neighborhood security is another advantage of such mixed use in an urban setting.
Red Lightning was built by Lockwood Construction of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
