Bumble Bee’s Baja Grill was built and opened in 2003 and has since become a landmark of Santa Fe.  An older structure was razed and the new restaurant was erected upon the existing foundation in the Downtown Historic District. Customers enjoy a casual dining room, a street-side patio and a drive-up window.  The project architect was asked to make sure that the restaurant would be suitable for small  jazz performances and he responded by specifying interior finishes with superior acoustical performance.

Bumble Bee’s Grill was a designed collaboratively by Architect Greg Allegretti and Designer Tim Curry and was built by Sarcon Construction of Santa Fe.  The restaurant was immediately popular and two additional locations have been added since.
