In 2004, workmen were performing some roof maintenance work at the Little Anita’s Restaurant on Menaul Boulevard in Albuquerque, NM when they inadvertently started a fire. Flames spread through concealed spaces in the building’s roof and destroyed the building.
Allegretti Architects assisted with restoration of this structure to its original condition and assisted with some additional improvements. All facilities now meet current accessibility standards. New kitchen equipment with a full fire suppression systems were installed. The concealed spaces within the roof construction no longer exist. Site improvements include additional parking, landscaping and site lighting.
