The Los Cuates Restaurant took over a small structure previously occupied by a pizza delivery parlor. Allegretti Architects designed a transformation of the building suited to the new operation. The building was fully gutted and completely re-constructed inside, creating an architecture appropriate to the cuisine. The interior build-out included a completely new commercial kitchen, dining rooms and a full service bar.
On the exterior, Allegretti Architects deigned a new front portal and outside dining terrace, creating a new identity for the restaurant. Precast concrete columns and trim elements convey a substantial appearance. At the same time, warm colors invite casual diners. Site improvements included additional parking, lighting and landscaping.
