Santa Fe Chevrolet Cadillac is an established automobile dealership located in the Santa Fe Auto Park on Cerrillos Road.  In 2006, Allegretti Architects was privileged to participate in the design of a sweeping renovation.  The out-of-date sales area was remodeled as were the administrative offices, parts department, and service center.

The new showroom applies a contemporary interpretation of traditional Santa Fe architecture.  Santa Fe Chevrolet Cadillac is now unique among local automobile dealerships in acknowledging its regional architectural heritage.

The architect designed large glass areas affording views of the vehicles inside and allow sales personnel to observe customers outside.  Existing parking and exterior sales lots were expanded and a new wash bay was added to the facility.  Santa Fe Chevrolet Cadillac has been able to enjoy significant operational savings since the new facility meets current building and mechanical standards for energy conservation.

The architect secured zoning approval for this project through public hearing as well as detailed staff review.  The project was constructed without interruption to the regular sales and service activities of the dealership.
