Allegretti Architects Santa Fe, New Mexico
Aster House is a 3,000 square-foot home in a foothills area of Santa Fe. Its traditionall design is dug into a gentle hillside, responding to restrictive height covenants. Views of city lights, western sunsets and Sun Mountain grace its comfortable living spaces.
The dwelling enjoys many fine appointments. Brick floors are warmed with radiant heat. Walls are finished in natural plaster. A breakfast space features a kiva fireplace and the master bedroom ceiling is detailed with vigas and cove plaster. Natural materials include wood ceilings and stone window sills.Exterior spaces are covered with portals wrapping the structure. An outside cooking center is built into the patio design.
Aster House was built by Dejarnette Construction.
